Officially launched in October 2024, while this was an idea already in our mind long ago, the Khulan Conservation Fund is a unique Conservation Fund created at our initiative that aims to:

. Enhance protection of the Khulan population in Mongolia (which represents the largest population of the Asiatic Wild Ass in the world),

. Support local community conservation projects and initiatives partnering with us,

. Raise international awareness about protection of the Khulan, Gobi key species and the Gobi Desert landscapes,

. Reinforce cooperation and joint conservation initiatives towards protection of this species and its habitat, 

. Support the creation of our local sister NGO and the functioning of both organizations. 

A special Conservation Fund to protect a unique, iconic and essential species: the Khulan.

By protecting the Khulan, we also protect a large range of lands and numerous species too!

By supporting the Khulan Conservation Fund you will become our Khulan Conservation Partner.

By making a one-time or a monthly donation, you will help enhance protection of the largest population of the Asiatic Wild Ass in the world and the unique and fragile ecosystem of Mongolia's Gobi Desert that sustains the Khulan, other species and local communities. 

- 65 % of all donations will be used to support our actions in the field (research, community-based conservation, citizen science, environmental education and more)

- 35 % of all donations will be used to support the functioning of our organization and the creation of a sister local non-profit organization and its functioning. 

• With €5, you finance for example the printing of one brochure for local communities about the Khulan and its importance in nature, 

• With €10, you finance for example the printing of a children book about protection of the Khulan and its habitat, 

• With €30, you finance the costs related to one pack of educational activities for the schools in the Gobi we partner with, or the costs related to one participative activity about wildlife protection or resources management for the local communities we work with, 

• With €60, you finance for example one day of salary and gasoline of one of our Gobi Guardian of the Khulan and Gobi biodiversity,

• With €500, you finance for example one camera trap and its solar panel for our research project and community-conservation activities, or 2 days of field trip for our research or activities with local communities.
